Delete your Coastory Account

Coastory (by Velocicoder) lets you use the app with or without an Account. If you created one, here is how to delete it and everything stored with it on our servers.

In the app

Open Settings → Backup & restore → Delete Account and confirm. This deletes your Account, your email address, your sign-in records, and the cloud copy of your ride history. It does not touch what is on your phone.

By email

If you can't get to the app, email support@coastory.app from the email address on your Account with the subject "Delete my Coastory Account". We'll delete it and confirm by reply, normally within a few days.

What gets deleted, and what doesn't

• Deleted: your Account, your email address, sign-in records, and every ride-history record stored on our servers. Deletion is immediate on our side; copies can remain in our provider's routine database backups for up to 30 days before those roll off.
• Not affected: anything on your phone. Use Settings → Erase everything in the app if you want that gone too, or uninstall.
• Not linked to your Account: crash reports (they never were, and expire on their own within 90 days) and any issue reports you submitted — email us if you'd like those removed as well.
